The highlight of the promotion is your unique feature dish or menu that highlights local B.C. food paired with B.C. beverage products (when applicable). No previous support or promotion of local ingredients in the restaurant is required

If you are a restaurant, café, pub, cellar door, caterer, farm gate, accommodation, or food tourism experience located in B.C. and serving B.C. sourced food, we welcome you to participate in EAT DRINK LOCAL.

No, participating in EAT DRINK LOCAL is free!

The EAT DRINK LOCAL campaign is active during the month of May.

Once your application is submitted, our program team members will review your submission to ensure you have:

a) Created or identified an EAT DRINK LOCAL feature dish or menu for May

b) Labeled local foods by location or farm on your menu (either in a menu statement, identified by specific menu items, or on a feature board)

You can promote your EAT DRINK LOCAL participation by highlighting your feature dish or menu item to dining customers. We also encourage you to promote your participation through your social media channels.

Yes, as long as the restaurant you are registering is located in B.C.
